The Department of Soil Research and Development (DSRD) organized a workshop titled "The Development of Regional Sustainable Soil Management Research Project" on September 26-27, 2024.The workshop was held in a hybrid format at TK Palace Hotel & Convention, Bangkok.The event brought together research teams from DSRD, the Center of Excellence for Research in the Asian Region (CESRA), CESRA network members (universities, external agencies, and independent organizations, etc.), and experts from various countries to exchange knowledge and collaboratively plan the development of a research proposal on sustainable soil management at the regional level.
        The main objective of this meeting was to establish a framework for developing a research proposal that will be submitted for future research funding.
This meeting marks an important step towards the joint development of a regional research proposal, preparing for future challenges in sustainable soil management.
